Connect Your Website to Claude
Use Claude Desktop, Claude Web, or Claude Mobile to build and manage your website through simple conversations. Once connected, you can create pages, write blogs, and manage your website effortlessly.
Getting Server URL
You'll need MCP server URL to connect Claude. Login to Hostbento dashboard and navigate to Settings > General to find your unique MCP server URL.
Claude Desktop
- Open Claude Desktop and go to Settings > Connectors
- Click "Add custom connector"
- Enter a name like "Hostbento (Your Website Name)"
- Copy and paste the above server URL into the Remote MCP server URL field
- Press Add
- You will be redirected to authorize the connection. Select the project / website you want to connect and authorize.
- Once the connection is authorized, return to Claude Desktop and click Connect next to the newly added Hostbento connector.
- Click on Configure and enable all tools for the Hostbento connector.
- Start chatting! Try: "Create a landing page for my website", "Show me the north star of my website"
Claude Web
- Open your Claude Web settings
- Click "Add custom connector"
- Enter a name like "Hostbento (Your Website Name)"
- Copy and paste the above server URL into the Remote MCP server URL field
- Press Add
- You will be redirected to authorize the connection. Select the project / website you want to connect and authorize.
- Once the connection is authorized, return to Claude Desktop and click Connect next to the newly added Hostbento connector.
- Click on Configure and enable all tools for the Hostbento connector.
- Start chatting! Try: "Create a landing page for my website", "Show me the north star of my website"
Claude Mobile
- You cannot add new Connector from the mobile app directly.
- Please use Claude Web or Claude Desktop to add the hostbento connector first.
- Once added, open the Claude Mobile app.
- Start a new chat, tap on + icon and Manage Connectors. You should see the hostbento connector listed there.
- Enable all tools for the hostbento connector and start chatting!
